چکیده
Introduction Text messaging is an effective way to reach large populations with health promotion support. This study aims establish the optimal text intervention achieve behavior change in young adults at risk of skin cancer. Study Design Latin square crossover RCT. Setting/participants Participants were women and men aged 18–40 years living Queensland, Australia who owned a smartphone had ≥2 cancer factors. Intervention enrolled from December 2018 February 2019 completed eligibility survey. Eligible participants randomized 4 different message interventions using design varying personalization, interactivity, frequency (February 2019‒July 2019). Each lasted for 1 month; between interventions, 1-week washout period which they online questionnaire. 6-month follow-up survey January 2020. Main outcome measures Measures included self-reported sun protection habits sunburns. Results A total 277 (71.2% response rate) follow-up. The index was significantly higher all (p<0.01 each intervention) than baseline, similar improvements among (p=0.27). Sunburn rates decreased over time intervention), achieving reductions sunburn during periods (p=0.78). Overall, 40.3% baseline 7.0% end intervention, follow-up, it remained below levels 23.5% (p<0.01). Conclusions Regular result increased adults. Trial registration registered Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry ACTRN12618001299291.

Adjusting for Treatment Crossover in A Trametinib Metastatic Melanoma Rct: Identifying the Appropriate Method.
Two-stage methods involve using data on postprogression survival in the control group as an observational dataset, and estimating the treatment effect specific to switchers. Then, counterfactual survival times are estimated using: Ui = TAi + TBi μB Where TAi represents the time spent on control treatment, TBi represents the time spent on the new intervention and μBis the treatment effect (accel...
متن کاملOptimizing Dendritic Cell Preparation for Fusion with Melanoma Cells
Background: Fusion of dendritic cells (DCs) with melanoma cells could reinforce the antigenicity of tumors as a strategy for the treatment of malignant melanoma. However, the insufficient quantity of DCs and the low fusion efficiency limits the development of such approach. Objective: To define the dosage of the stimulating factors as well as the induction condition for the optimal DCs prepara...

Radiation is the emission (sending out) of energy from any source. The light that comes from the sun is a source of radiation, as is the heat that is constantly coming off our bodies. When talking about radiation, however, most people think of specific kinds of radiation such as that produced by radioactive materials or nuclear reactions. Most forms of radiation have not been linked to cancer. ...
متن کاملRandom Latin square graphs
In this paper we introduce new models of random graphs, arising from Latin squares which include random Cayley graphs as a special case. We investigate some properties of these graphs including their clique, independence and chromatic numbers, their expansion properties as well as their connectivity and Hamiltonicity. The results obtained are compared with other models of random graphs and seve...
متن کاملMelanoma detection with a deep learning model
Background: Skin cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in the world and melanoma is the deadliest type of skin cancer. Both melanoma and melanocytic nevi begin in melanocytes (cells that produce melanin). However, melanocytic nevi are benign whereas melanoma is malignant. This work proposes a deep learning model for classification of these two lesions. Methods: In this analytic s...
